Missing Preacher FoundPublished Wednesday, May 29, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneDavid Goodnight, 32, pastor of Morris Baptist Church, has been found and is in good health. According to Nevada County Sheriff Harold Vines, Goodnight was located at an aunts house in Texas. Apparently, the aunt contacted Goodnight's father to let him know the pastor was all right. Goodnight was reported missing Sunday, May 19. He had been scheduled to preach at Morris Baptist, but failed to show. His 1996 Chevrolet pickup an a few items belonging to Goodnight were missing from his residence at the time. The incident was treated as a missing person case, with the NCSO, Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division and Nevada County Rescue Unit combing the Caney area where Goodnight lived at the time.
