Dance Students To Peform

Some of the students from Shirlene's School of Dance performed at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Prescott Saturday, June 1.

Each class performed one of their dances in costume for the Hillcrest residents' enjoyment. The children were excited to perform for such a welcoming audience.

Shirlene's School of Dance will be performing its spring dance recital Saturday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m. in Hope in the Klipsch Auditorium at Hope City Hall. Admission is free.

There are 30 numbers in the show this year. The dancers will be performing ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance numbers.

Dancers from Gurdon are Victoria Allen, Tabitha Manley, Brittney Stroud and Beth Mitchell. Other dancers are Jessie Bryant and Becky Lee of Okolona and Macy McMillan of Arkadelphia.
