225 Graduate from OBUPublished Wednesday, June 5, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesTwo hundred twenty-five students received bachelor degrees during spring commencement exercises at Ouathita Baptist University on May 11 in the Bill Vining arena in the Roy and Christine Sturgis Physical Education Center. Students from Gurdon who received degrees were: Robin Thomas Bratton, bachelor of science in education, elementary education; Caroline Lynn Curry,, bachelor of arts, political science and Russian; Christy Leigh Rogers, bachelor of arts, political science; and Lavina Renee Young, bachelor of arts, accounting.
