HSU Graduates 172Published Wednesday, June 5, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe office of Academic Affairs at Henderson State University announced today that 172 collegians earned dean's list status for the spring semester. Dr. Robert Houston, vice president of academic affairs, said that in order to qualify for the dean's list the student had to earn a perfect 4.0 on 12 or more semester hours of course work. Approximately 350 students made the university's honor roll for the spring term. According to Houston, students on the honor roll were required to earn a 3.5 grade point average on 12 or more semester hours. Tori Marion and Richard L. Wright of Gurdon were named to the dean's list and Kelly J. Allen, Amy L. Beene, Melissa A. Calley, Rebecca S. Cooper, Kelly B. Massey, Coy E. Price, Mary M. Taylor and Roy F.
