I'm starting my news with what I call as being a good Samaritan. Recently Harold White visited his cousin, Raymond White, a patient at Edgewood Nursing Home in Texarkana. Raymond had not seen his sister or relatives here in Prescott for many years. Harold brought him to Prescott to visit his sister, Winifred Hulan, at Beverly Nursing Home and his Aunt Donnie Rinkle and his Aunt Lucy Taylor at Hillcrest Rehab. They also visited Edgar White of Conway and Thomas White of Gurdon.

Billie Ridling and Mary Lee Kisselburg have returned from a trip with the Trailblazers. They enjoyed a three-day stay in San Francisco, as well as seeing the Painted Desert, Sky City and the Grand Canyon and many more wonderful sights.

Eli Ratcliff and Ryan Burdue had most of their families supporting their playing in the All- Star game Saturday and Sunday.

Kim, Ross and Lyle Menendez from Michigan recently visited their grandmother, Donnie Rinkle.

Gene and Wanda Steed from Camden visited Neil and me on Monday.

Betty and Jim Roberson from Dallas visited her mother, Lucy Taylor, at Hillcrest Rehab on Tuesday.

Doyle and Jackie Lucas from Redfield and Mozelle Gill from Hillcrest Rehab spent July 3 with Cherrie, Danny and Katy Wilson. They treated Mozelle to all sorts of vegetables and all the trimmings.

Samantha Gordon spent the Fourth of July weekend with Katy Wilson. Katy spent last Saturday night with Brittany Pedigo and attended church at Central Baptist Church. Katy spent all last week in Redfield with Granny Jackie and Doyle Lucas.

Randal Blount and Neil and I attended the funeral of our son-in-law, Dr. Tim Wilson, in Hot Springs Village on July 7. He is survived by his wife, Betty Meeks Wilson, two stepsons, Chris, of Dallas, Casey of Oxford, Miss., stepdaugher, Charity Lowdermilk, and onestep grandchild, Caleb Lowdermilk. He is also survived by his parents, J.D. and Margaret Wilson, and one brother, Steve.
