Crews with G&S Construction of Arkadelphia work to line up a boring machine to drill a hole beneath the railroad tracks on Ron Harrod Blvd. According to Jim Sharkey, executive director with the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office, crews will lay 4,000 feet of 12-inch water main. This portion of the project was funded by the Arkansas Industrial Development Commission through an economic infrastructure grant. Sharkey said, weather permitting, this segment of the project could be completed in as little as two weeks.
