Visiting Oscar Hopson were Betty Howell, Cleotis Howell, Juanita Hopson, Napolan Hopson and Hermon Hopson also from California and Homer Hopson of Waldo.

Chester Sandifer visited Lois Piggee.

Visiting Ohel Daniell were Leon and Ted Carter from Sherman, Texas, Clara Mae Carter from Clarendon, Texas, and O.D. and Mauis Loe from Jefferson, Texas.

Visiting Louise Pounds was Bobbie Abington from Fordyce.

Annette Birdsong visited her mother, Pauline Johnson.

Lou Barksdale visited Gladys Hawley as did Olen and Vernell Loe.

Vonnie Bishop visited Sherrill Young.

Cleo Stephens visited Hester Stephens on the July 4. Shirley Dickens also visited.

Ida Lougford and her mother, Lucille Henagon, from Missouri visited Ethel Carmon.

Joe and Ruby Ledbetter visited several this week, including Maxie Ledbetter, Jessie Steed and Bernard Piercy.

Those celebrating birthdays recently are Ethel Carman, July 5; Sally White, the 6th; Ollie Parker and Annie Johnson on the 10th. We all wish you well.

Visiting Mozelle Gill on the 4th were Jackie and Doyle Lucus from Redfield. They all went out to Cherrie's and had supper on the 3rd. Others visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Sabe from Conway, Carolyn Cullins from Little Rock and Cherrie and Katie visit almost every evening.

Those visiting Oscar Hopson were some of his children, Steve, Odel, Charles and Mary Dell Spearman.

Sue Buie visited her mother, Easter Reese.

Visiting Bert Marsh were her son, Rod, and his wife Jewel Marsh.

Mrs. Edna Fomby always enjoys a visit from her son, Kenny, and his wife, Lynn.

Our sympathy goes out to the Georgette 'Jett' Fontana family. She will be missed.

Visiting Mrs. Piggee were her sister, Bee Bee from St. Paul, Minn., her niece, Ada Steed, and Jessie Sanford and Doris Pierce and brothers from California.

We want to extend our welcome to Mrs. Viola Phillips, who joined us here on Friday, July 9.

Visiting Eva Jones on Saturday was her niece Phena and Jim Youngman.

We would like to say a big thank you to Tommy Beck. He was gracious enough to bring his big smoker here on the 4th. He cooked chicken and hamburgers. We also would like to thank Noel Cummings' daughter for the watermelons and everyone else who made it a day for our residents to enjoy.

Visiting Jean Cottingham this week were Helen Harrison and Dorothy Grimes.

Visiting Pauline Johnson were Tami and Carlton Dickerson and Annette Birdsong.

Oscar Hopson was able to go to his church for homecoming with dinner. We were so happy to have the Laneburg Baptist Church with us Sunday. We sure did enjoy it.

Martin Gilbert from Rogers visited his mother Caroline Gilbert Saturday.

J.E. Dillard from Rosston spent Saturday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard.

Janett Beaver from Camden spent Sunday with her mother, Minnie Moore.

Chelsea Vandiver visited her mother, Carrie Vandiver, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cornish from Antoine visited his sister, Carmon Hendrix, Sunday.

Mrs. and Mrs. Dave Burke from Rosston visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard, Sunday.

Lana Carlton from Bodcaw visited her father, Mark Lambert, Sunday.

Mrs. Estelle Yancey spent the weekend in Texarkana with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Don Ruggles.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lambert from Texarkana spent Monday with his father, Mark Lambert.

Several residents got to go spend Sunday with relatives and some got phone calls.

J.E. Dillard, Margaret Rhodes and Cedalia from Rosston spent Thursday morning with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard.

Shirley Nicholson from Little Rock and Colene Lewis from Russellville visited Myrtle Hastiny Sunday.

Pat Andrews from Hope visited his sister, Irene Riley, Sunday.
