Fourth Graders Earn Presidential Awards

The President's Award for Educational Excellence was given to eligible fourth grade students at the awards assemble at Gurdon Primary School on May 22.

The awards are given to those students who have achieved academically and exhibited high motivation, initiative, integerity, intellectual depth, leadership qualities and exceptional judgment.

The following students received the certificate and a lapel pin: Michael Benson, Brandon Bradshaw, Philip Brady, Amanda Branson, Nikita Briscoe, Jessie Bryant, Caitlin Conly, Heather Drake, Makisha Ellis, Jonathan Gonzales, Kim Hulan, Joshua Jordan, Lindett Kadiri, Crystal Lane, Robyn LeMay, Lacey Loy, Tabaith Manley, Krista McKenzie, Lynsey McKenzie, Tasha Morgan, Jill Plyler, Katie Swinea, Davion Williams, Takia Williams and John David Windham.
