Pee Wee ScoresPublished Wednesday, June 19, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesHere are the scores are given for Pee Wee League baseball teams for June 11 and 14. Tuesday, June 11, Rotary 13-6 over Thomerson Drug; Curtis Quick Stop 18-3 over Griffin Logging; and M&M Enterprises 14-3 over Cabe Foundation. Homeruns were hit by Stephan Gill, Shane Dempsey, Kentrel Green, Daniel Francis and Josh Lockwood. Those hitting triples were Jack Woolf, Jessie Hogue, Bryan Duncan, Bean McKenzie and Rhett Hunter. Those hitting doubles were Jack Woolf, Sherrod Williams, Hollie Hughes, Johathan Lacy, Cody Bradshaw, Spencer Kizer, Colton McClure, Blake Ellis, Ryan Harrison and Josh Lockwood. Friday June 14, M&M Enterprises sneaked by Rotary 10-9; Cabe Foundation edged Curtis Quick Stop 12-11; and Thomerson Drug defeated Griffin Logging, 13-7. Daniel Francis, Sherrod Williams, Stephan Gill, Cody Bradshaw and Ryan Harrison, all hit triples in these games. No homeruns was hit. Slugging away with the bat and hitting hitting doubles were Kentrel Trevor Stone, Jack Woolf, Casey McNabb, Sherrod Williams, Armontie Dickens, Jonathan Lacy, Jessie Hogue, Stephan Gill, Cody Bradshaw, Chase Griffin, Cullen Pledger, Chris Young, Blake Ellis and Ryan Harrison. The Pee Wee season is over and all the kids did a great job, a spokesman said. "A special thank you to all the people who were involved in Pee Wee baseball," the spokesman said.
