Explorers Working On '100' Hours of DispatchPublished Wednesday, June 19, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Explorers Post 80 of Nevada County are working at the sheriff's office and will continue throughout the summer to earn 100 hours of dispatching. The activities completed for the month of June included the Explorer booth set up at the Emmet Festival on June 8 and the group attended the beach bash in Texarkana. Activities coming up for the month of June include classes on CPR/first aid on June 22 and Explorer camp in Texarkana. The regular meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
