Highway 67 To Be Worked OnPublished Wednesday, June 19, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Arkansas State Highway Commission has opened bids for a project to improve a Nevada County highway, according to highway commissioner John M. Lipton of Warren. The project will resurface a 1.69-mile section of Highway 67 from Highway 332 (Washington Road) to Garland Creek. L.J. Earnest, Inc. of Bossier City, La., was awarded a $199,806.48 contract for the work. The project is expected to be complete by October 25. The project will go through downtown Prescott.
