NCSO Investigating Break-Ins; Road Blocks Planned In AreaBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, July 14, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Nevada County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating two break-ins. One occurred sometime from July 5-7, at the home of Jack Curtis of Bodcaw. The suspect(s) entered through the front door and took more than $2,500 in cash belonging to Curtis' son, Casey. The other incident, according to Heb Sorrells, public information officer for the NCSO, occurred between midnight and 5 a.m. Saturday, July 10. Suspect(s) entered a storage building behind the home of Dexter Butler, of Bodcaw, and cut the lock and chain from a '97 Honda ATV, then stealing the vehicle.
