Two Pageant Deadlines Near

Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Teen Southwest Arkansas pageants will be held Saturday, July 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the Paul Klipsch Auditorium in Hope.

Girls wish to compete should contact Sharon Ward at 777-3168 to be a Miss Southwest Arkansas contestant, and Dee Godwin at 777-1134 to be a Miss Teen Southwest contestant.

The 1996 Miss Teen Southwest will win a $500 scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Hope (formerly known as Red River Technical College) and the 1996 Miss Southwest will win a $1,500 scholarship or higher and a $1,200 wardrobe. The talent winner will receive a $400 scholarship.
