Westmoreland To Participate In Workshop At Washington D.C.Published Wednesday, July 3, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Joyce Westmoreland, sixth grade science teacher at Prescott Middle School, has accepted an invitation to participate in the Passport to Knowledge, Live from Mars, workshop. The workshop will be held in Washington, D.C., July 18 through 21. It sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. By participating in this workshop, Mrs. Westoreland will become Arkansas' Teacher Advocate representative for the Passport to Knowledge Program. As such, she will be a member of a select team of experienced educators who help develop and advance the Pasport to Knowledge model.
