Executive Director Is Hired

Robert "Chandler" Russ has been hired as the new executive director for the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office.

This announcement was made by John Brannan Jr., chairman of the Prescott-Nevada County Interlocal Cooperative Industrial Board.

Russ will be moving to Nevada County from Clarksdale, Miss., where he has been working for the Clarksdale- Coahoma Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Foundation in the capacity as a community development officer.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, with a BS degree in Regional and Community Planning, and a MS in Economic and Community Development.

The Prescott office has been successful under the leadership of Gene Monk and Jim Sharkey, and the Board of Directors looks forward to working with Russ in continuing this trend of success in the community.
