Thorne A. HesterlyPublished Wednesday, July 10, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneThorne A. Hesterly, 99, of Prescott died Thursday, July 4, 1996, in Prescott. She was born July 12, 1896, in Waters, Mich. She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include one son, John H. Hesterly of Aberdeen, Md.; two daughters, Catherine H. Westerfield of LaJolla, Calif., and Louise H. Walls of Ft. Worth, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth H. Ackerman in 1984. Services were held Monday, July 8, at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Revs. Jerry Westmoreland and Dale Diffee officiating.
