David `Scobee' ScobeyPublished Wednesday, July 10, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneDavid `Scobee' Scobey, 63, of Lone Star, Texas, died Sunday, June 30, 1996. He was born April 11, 1933, in Hastings, Mich. He was a truck driver for E.L. Farmer Trucking Company and veteran of the U.S. Army and a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Caroyln Scobey of Lone Star, Texas; one stepson, Richard Keith Murphy of Lone Star; two stepdaughters, Sunday Sampson of Lone Star and Misty Cato of Hope; one sister, Donna Sherman of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one brother, Tommie Scobey of Florida; and three stepgrandchildren. Graveside services and burial were Wednesday, July 3, at Morrow Cemetery in Prescott with Rev. Durwood Bristow officiating under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
