Barbara Ann OtwellPublished Wednesday, September 8, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesBarbara Ann Otwell, 62, of Gurdon died Wednesday, September 1, 1999. Mrs. Otwell was an LPN and a member of the Beirne Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Danny Hastings of North Little Rock, James Otwell of Gurdon, John Otwell of Port Lavaca, Texas, Michael Otwell of Texarkana, Texas, and David Otwell of Cave City; three daughters, Robin Edmonds and Marianne Till, both of Oak Island, Texas, and Connie Hunter of Gurdon; two step-daughters, Glenda Langston of Queen City, Texas, and Cathy Britton of Royal; two brothers, Bill Hastings of Oak Island, Texas, and Billy Hastings of Gurdon; two sisters, Mattie Talley of Gurdon and Clemmie Owens of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Graveside services were Friday at Brown Cemetery in Beirne with Bro. Terry Mann. Arrangements were under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
