Another AwardPublished Wednesday, July 10, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesGurdon City Recorder/Treasurer Tambra Smith displays one of the two awards she was presented at the recent Arkansas Municipal League meeting, held in Little Rock. Along with being recognized for her efforts working with the AML, Smith was presented with a scholarship for $400 to continue her education as a Recorder/Treasurer at the University of Arkansas. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
