Discussing OptionsPublished Wednesday, July 17, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesRick Donovan, left, with the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, representing Beverly Enterprises, Inc. of Arkansas, spoke to a crowd of about 100 Gurdon residents Friday night outlining their options to keep Pineview Nursing Home where it is. The crowd, meeting in the Gurdon Middle School auditorium, was informed if Gurdon loses the nursing home there cannot be another one brought in to replace it. When these beds are gone, he said, they're gone. A group of concerned citizens went to Little Rock Tuesday to protest the planned move.
