Nelson Lauded As ChairmanPublished Wednesday, July 21, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneRon Brown, controller for the North Little Rock Water Department, is the 1999-2000 chair of the Arkansas Water Works and Water Environment Association. Other officers are Stanley Suel, supervisor of the Environment Assessment Department for Little Rock Wastewater Utility, vice chairman; Alan D. Fortenberry, P.E., general manager of Grand Prairie Regional Water Distribution District in Stuttgart, treasurer; and Perry Nelson, superintendent of Prescott Water and Sewer Departments is past chairman. The association's approximately 2,400 members include personnel and governing officers of Arkansas' drinking water and wastewater systems, as well as engineers, regulatory agencies and service providers for the water and wastewater industries.
