The Southwest Arkansas Development Council single parent/displaced homemakers program will begin taking applications for the 1999 fall semester for financial aid and child care assistance on Monday, July 26, and will continue through Friday, August 6.

Applications may be filled out at at 110 South Main in Hope between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

In order to qualify for assistance applicants must have attended a career directions workshop and also qualify financially. When filling out applications for assistance the agency will require proof of registration, including book and tuition amount; proof of income; and if applying for child care assistance you must notify the agency of the licensed day care facility that you have chosen.
