Registration Underway For Fair Queen Contests

Michelle McFadden, age 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McFadden, formerly of Prescott, has been accepted as a state finalist for the 13th annual Miss Michigan American Coed and Pre-Teen Pageant to be held at the Lansing Holiday Inn South, in South Lansing, Mich., on July 19, 19 and 20.

Miss McFadden resides in Detroit and is sponsored by her parents.

Her honors and hobbies include honor student, perfect attendance for the 1995-96 school year. Her hobbies are working on computers and dance.

The Miss Michigan American pageants are open to girls betwen the ages of 8 and 19 to become state finalists in Michigan. The pageant seeks to recognize outstanding young ladies for their contributions in academics and service to their community at the present time and to encourage them to set high goals for their future.
