Float TripPublished Wednesday, July 31, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesTeen Leaders Floated the Caddo at Arrowhead. Eighteen people attend the camp out. The teens played volley-ball, tether ball, horseshoes, and many card games. The teen leader 4-H'ers had to completed many requirements before they were able to attend the second annual camp out. Some of the requirements were: a water safety course, CPR, and attendance at fund raising car washes. After the teens safely naneuvered the course of the river, a picnic lunch awaited them. Teen Leaders is a club for active 4-H'ers who are thirteen to nineteen years of age. Anyone interested in joining a 4-H club should contact the local County Extension Office at 246-2281.
