Hillman H. MayPublished Wednesday, July 21, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneHillman H. May, 89, of Bodcaw died Sunday, July 11, 1999, in a Hope nursing home. Mr. May was a former two-term state representative in the Arkansas General Assembly from Nevada County and he was retired as a teacher and coach. He was also retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Magnolia since 1973, a veteran of service in the U.S. Army during World War II, a member and former deacon of First Baptist Church of Magnolia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Waters May, his parents, James Marian May and Elizabeth Hairston May, and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 13, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia with Rev. Glen Cannon officiating. Burial was in Willisville Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Magnolia. Pallbearers were Alvin Butler, James V.
