Larry WahlquistPublished Wednesday, July 31, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneLarry Wynne Wahlquist, 60, of Nashville, Tenn., died Wednesday, July 24, 1996, in Jacksonville, Fla. A former Mayor of Prescott, he was owner of the Wahlquist Management Corporation. He was former owner of the Nevada County Picayune, a former State Farm Insurance Agent in Prescott, and the owner of Winman Furniture. Survivors include one son, Clay Wynne Wahlquist of Little Rock; two daughters, Robin Alane Prather of Maumelle and Miki Carol Holder of Heber Springs; one brother, Clyde Wahlquist of Little Rock; and two grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, July 27, at the Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Prescott. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
