Moore Set To Speak On Self Motivation

Bob Moore, nationally known speaker and author on personal motivation and self-development, will address the faculty and staff of Prescott Public Schools in the middle school cafetorium on August 15 at 9:30 a.m.

Moore will speak on the topic `Taking the T Off Can't.'

Moore, a notably popular and dynamic speaker, appears annually throughout the United States before thousands of students, parents and educational and business groups "helping people to realize and reach their potential."

From experience gleaned through 25 years in the field of education as teacher, guidance counselor, motivational speaker and author, Moore observed, "I am convinced that the greatest need people have in America today, students and adults, is the need to believe more strongly in their potential and ability and the need they have in understanding how to place positive and constructive action behind these beliefs to make goals and dreams come true."

He is the author of the popular book on self-growth through personal motivation, You Can Be President (Or Anything Else). Roger Staubach, former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, recently said that Moore's book is an important book in America today for all people to read.

Moore served as a guidance counselor at Beaufort (S.C.) High School before becoming coordiator of guidance service for the South Carolina Department of Education.

He now heads his own motivational consulting firm.

He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and University of Georga.

He is a past president of the South Carolina Education Association and was twice named United State delegate to the World Confederation of Organizations of the Teaching Profession Conference in France and in Africa.
