Prescott Elementary School Supply List 1996-1997

Note: Students will need more paper, pencils and some of the other supplies as the school year progresses. Please label everything with your child's name and room code.

Kindergarten: three boxes Crayola brand 16-count crayons; three bottles Elmer's School Glue (eight-ounce); two pair metal Fiskar scissors; one plastic dishpan; one plastic placemat; one rest mat; one box Kleenex (200- count); one complete change of clothing (underwear included) labeled in a zip lock bag; back pack; $4 for Weekly Reader; one stamped self-address envelope.

Parents: Please bring your child's supplies when you come to kindergarten parent orientation.

First Grade: one first grade manuscript tablet (the desired tablets can only be found at the elementary school); one box crayons, one pair blunt scissors; one bottle of Elmer's Glue (four-ounce); two pencils; two large boxes Kleenex; one school box (small cardboard or plastic); stenographer's book for spelling; one set of water colors; two folders with pockets and brads; one stamped self-addressed envelope; first graders will need a tablet a month.

Second grade: one box crayons (16-count); one bottle Elmer's Glue (four-ounce); one pair pointed scissors; two number-two pencils; one school box; two second grade manuscript tablets (Pilot handwriting tablet, found only at the elementary school); three neat notebooks (notebook paper that can be torn out, please no spirals; one large box Kleenex (200-count); one roll paper towels; one stamped self-addressed envelope; $3.50 Weekly Reader money (for Mrs. Cottingham's students only).

Third grade: one box crayons (24-count); one bottle of Elmer's Glue (four-ounce); one pair blunt scissors; one package construction paper (40- count); two large boxes Kleenex; two rolls paper towels; three second grade manuscript tablets, found only at the elementary school; three pocket folders; three manila folders (do not put names on these); number-two pencils as needed throughout the year; notebook paper as needed throughout the year; one spiral notebook (at least 100 pages); $3.75 for Weekly Reader; one stamped self-addressed envelope; no Trapper Keepers please.

Fourth grade: one box crayons (24-count); one bottle of Elmer's Glue (four-ounce); one pair of scissors (labeled); two boxes Kleenex (200-count) as needed); one ruler with centimeter and inch measurements; one school box (no large plastic boxes); two rolls paper towels; number-two pencils as needed; loose leaf notebook paper; one bottle of liquid soap (no bars); six folders with brads and pockets; one stamped self-addressed envelope.
