Friday Is Deadline

Those interested in filing for a position on the Prescott School Board need to get their petitions in by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2.

This is the filing deadline for school board candidates.

However, the only seat open in Prescott is Ward 2, currently held by George Odom.

In Nevada, zone 2 is also up for grabs. This post is currently held by board president Beverly Curtis.

Jack Faulkner's seat on the Emmet board, also zone 2, coming open in the September election.
