Annie WardPublished Wednesday, August 7, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneAnnie Ward, 86, of Rosston died Wednesday, July 31, 1996, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Born November 26, 1909, at Mt. Ida, she was the widow of Olin O. Ward. Survivors include a son, Pete Ward of Rosston; three daughters, Syble McAteer of Rosston, Virginia Williams of Bodcaw and Bernice Bobo of Springhill; a brother, Walter Mayberry of Royal; a stepbrother, Jessie Fisher of Hot Springs; two half-sisters, Mary and Christene of California; a stepsister, Emma of California; 21 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Services were held Friday, August 2, at Corinth Baptist Church at Bodcaw with the Rev. Billy Russell officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
