Oscar Hopson spent a few days in the hospital last week, but is back doing very well. Those visiting him were Charles Hopson, his son from California, as well as Betty Howell and Mary Spearman, who are also from California.

Visiting Maxie Ledbetter was Delia Pittman.

Mary Fore visited several friends, Eva Jones and Ohel Daniels.

Chris Smith visited Betty Earhart and Ohel Daniels.

Melba Hicks visited Mary Cross last week.

Visiting Mozelle Gill were Katy Wilson and Cherrie.

Martha Manning spent several days in the hospital, but is back doing very well.

Those having birthdays are Dora Bert Marsh on the 14th and Esther Reese on the 18th. We all wish them well.

We send our prayers out to the Elgie Carman family. He passed away on Sunday morning.

The Church of the Nazarene members with Bro. Charles May were here Sunday for our services. We sure did enjoy them.

Linda Marks from Oklahoma visited Louise Presson. She took her to DeGray Lake for their family reunion. Over 70 friends and relatives were there. All her children, two sisters and one brother the only three left besides herself were there.

Lucy Taylor enjoyed a visit from her son, Harvey Taylor.

Visiting Gladys Hawley were Sue Cowart, Vernell Loe, Betty McCain, Floyd Dougan and Lou Barksdale, daughter from Hope.

Mrs. Bert Marsh had several visitors on the 14th as that was her birthday.

Lottie Purifoy spent a few days in the hospital, but is back home with us doing fairly good.

Sophie Taylor visits her mother, Marie McKelvy, and her mother-in-law, Lucy Taylor, and many more regularly.

Visiting Myrtle Hastings was her son and daughter-in-law, James and Martha Hastings and Jim from Little Rock.

Visiting Mrs. Eva Jones this week were her sisters, Mary Beth Jones and Sue Ward and Phene Youngman.

Charlie Erhart visited his wife, Betty Erhart.

Estelle Yancy visited her daughter, Mary Ruggles, who lives in Texarkana.

Pauline Johnson is in the hospital. We send our prayers her way.

Venata Bustin is spending a few days in Medical Park hospital.

Ina Steed enjoyed a visit from her son, Bob Steed and his wife.

Edith Hughes spent a few days in Nashville visiting family.

Janette Steed visited Lois Wicker one day last week.

Visiting Mary Etta Jackson were Naomie Hopson and Billy Hopson.

Mary Cross spent a few days in the hospital, but returned Saturday evening, doing fairly good.

Visiting Esther Reese, helping celebrate her birthday, were her daughters, Sue Bouie and Pauline Hawley and friend Glen Applegate, Mrs. Reese's brother, Jack Fielding from Hope, Louise Stimmett from Gurdon. The big surprise was the dinner Pauline brought with fresh corn, potato salad and fried chicken.

Georgana Britt from Okolona visited Edyth Hughes Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mitchell from Little Rock visited his mother, Marjorie Mitchell, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Sarratt from Camden visited his mother, Minnie Moore, Saturday.

Jo DeWoody from Gurdon spent Wednesday morning with her Aunt Lillian Terrell.

Janett Bloomfield from Arkadelphia visited her mother, Clora McCain, Saturday.

J.E. Dillard from Rosston spent Monday morning with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard.

Lana Carlton and daughter Lorie from Bodcaw visited their father and grandfather, Mark Lambert, Saturday.

We would like to send a great big thanks to Mary Fern Overton and granddaughter, Cheryl Hughes, for their faithfulness. They always come to the home and check on almost everyone. That really means a lot to some.
