Head Start Applications AvailablePublished Wednesday, August 7, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Head Start Center is taking applications August 5-16 for the fall program. If you have a child, who will be three years old by October 1, he may be eligible for child care services at no cost to the parents. Come by the center to enroll your child. You must bring proof of income, your child's birth certificate and their immunization records. A part-day program is provided for non-working parents and a full day program is offered for working or in-school parents. The center is administred by Central Arkansas Development Council with Federal Funds from the Department of Health and Human Services. for working or in-school parents.
