3 Seek Board SpotsPublished Wednesday, August 7, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThere will be three new faces on the Gurdon School Board next year. This is because Woody Graham, Robert Burns and Miles McKenzie are not seeking reelection in their respective zones. However, the three men running for these seats are assured of winning, as they are unopposed. David L. Williams is running for Graham's spot in zone 8, while Stanley Allen Escalante should earn the seat in zone 12, currently held by McKenzie. Burns' post, zone 10, is sought by Billy Tarpley. Each of the new members will be elected to five year terms when the election is held Sept. 17. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
