CaneyRuby WickerPublished Wednesday, July 21, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We were pleased to have Donald and Margaret Webb in our service at Morris Sunday morning. Bro. Tal Webb and family ate lunch with them after church and spent a very enjoyable afternoon. Cody Jackson with his parents, Steve and Deb, and sister, Dee Jarvis, went camping on Cowhide Cove last week. I think he had lots of fun. Helen May has been visiting her doctor on a regular basis. She has finally found something to relieve pain in her back and legs. The Tuckers all have had a virus. Bobby and Charlotte visited their doctor last week and got antibiotics. Ron Tucker has been off work three months with a bad back. Hope they are all feeling better. Our fourth Thursday night singing will be this week at Morris beginning at 7 p.m. Summer revival begins July 26 each evening at 7:00 at Morris. Bro. Doyle Glass will be the evangelist. Heather Callicott took her granddad Johnny Shewbirt to Little Rock to see his doctor last week. Janice Callicott, Amy Sweat and I met Bill Ed and Glenda Dixon of Orange, Texas, in Marshall, Texas, Wednesday. We took them some good old Arkansas peas. We had lunch together and visited the pottery before returning home. Glenda shared with us a very good thought for the day: "Failure will never overtake you if your determination to succeed is strong enough."
