Superstop OpensPublished Wednesday, August 14, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, Aug. 8, for the newest addition to the area's business community, the new Dillard Shell Superstop convenience store. The business is located on Highway 53 at Interstate 30. Along with the ribbon cutting, the Gurdon Go-Devil cheerleaders pumped gas and washed windshields, prizes were given away, there were free soft drinks and hot dogs to visitors and the Coulson Oil Co. mule team showed up.
