Roy Brown is still in intensive care at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, but hopefully he is a little better. He has had several visitors. Some of his visitors were Everett Orren and Edgar White visited Fate House of Powderly, Texas, on Monday.

Tommy and Helen Elmore of Hamburg spent a couple of days with Elsie Elmore. India Elmore of Arkadelphia had supper with them Wednesday and Thursday night. Thursday night Criss Elmore was honored with a birthday supper at the home of the Aunt Cathryn and Uncle Pete Jester. He also returned home with his parents, Tommy and Helen, after spending several weeks with Cathryn, Pete and Jimmy Joe.

Willie and I enjoyed visiting with Neil and Hazel Meeks during the week.

Danny Hooks was home from Panama Sunday. All of his brothers, Doyle Everett, Hershel and Tommy and sister, Kathleen, met at the Hooks' home to see their mother, Cathrine, and do a little fishing together.

Kay Wren spent the weekend with Joy and Billy Ray Shaver of Hamburg.

Willie and I visited Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Lewallen in Beverly Nursing Home at Arkadelphia Sunday afternoon. We also got to visit with our daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hooks, and our granddaughter and her husband, Tammy and Steve Scoggins, and great grandson and his wife, Wynn and Doris Wells, at the nursing home.

Willie and I enjoyed Bennie Walthall of Texarkana visiting us a while Saturday afternoon.

Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas enjoyed a short drop in visit with the Doyle Hooks children, Doyle, Everett, Hershel, Danny, Tommy and Kathleen, Sunday morning.
