All-Star Game Attended

Melinda McGough had the special honor of representing Prescott High School one last time as a cheerleader at the All Star football game in Conway Friday, August 2.

She joined top cheerleaders from their respective schools around the state to form East and West squads.

On Sunday, August 4, Melinda's school colors changed as she reported for cheerleader practice and camp as a new freshman cheerleader for the Ouachita Baptist University Tigers.

The OBU Tiger cheerleaders traveled to Evangel College in Springfield, Mo., to attend NCA Collegiate Camp. At camp the sqaud earned the spirit trophy and the best all-round sqaud trophy. McGough earned the Top Gun Gold Medal in the jump contest.

McGough, who has received a scholastic excellence scholarship from Ouachita Baptist University for making a 26 or higher on the ACT, plans to major in accounting.
