Murrell O. Booker Jr. Murrell O. Booker Jr., 72, of Emmet died Saturday, August 17,Published Wednesday, August 21, 1996 in the Nevada County Picayune1996, in Prescott Nursing Center in Prescott. Born May 18, 1924, in Nevada County he was a retired self-employed welder, and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Booker and Raymond Booker. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hamilton Booker of Emmet; a son, James Don Booker of North Little Rock; four daugthers, LaRue Weeks of Euless, Texas, Amber Hughes of Prescott, Bonnie Breeding of Hope and Tamera Spell of Emmet; one brother, Dale Booker of Emmet; two sisters, Myrtle Cross of Laneburg and Dorothy Langston of Emmet; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Graveside services and burial were held at Snell Cemetery in Emmet on Monday, August 19, with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland and Rev.
