Redland Extension Club MeetsPublished Wednesday, August 21, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneFifteen club members and one visitor, Shirley Bumgardner, met at the recreation hall of Liberty Church Tuesday afternoon., August 7, for the monthly meeting of Redland Extension Homemakers Club. The group was called to order by president Marie McNeely. Roll call was answered by each member stating one good thing that has happened to her today. The Club Collect was given by Joy Cox. A beautiful poem was read by Sis. Betty Stinson and prayer was led by Evelyn Hooks. Julene Hulan was chosen as homemaker of the year for the Redland EHC. A fair booth for the club was discussed. The title, `Old and New Lighting' was chosen for the club's booth. Lucy Heath won the door prize. Delicious refreshments were served by Ruby Bidwell and Willie Mae Wood.
