McMaster, Bass Wed July 27 At Arkadelphia Church (cont)Published Wednesday, August 21, 1996 in the Gurdon Timeslass of First United Methodist Church on June 23. A Christmas ornament shower for the bride-elect was given in the home of Michelle Helms and co-hostessed by Melissa McClure on June 27. High school and college friends enjoyed this gala Christmas event. A miscellaneous bridal shower was given in the home of Pat Bunn on June 30, with eight hostesses assisting. Guests were driven from the street to her home in four-wheel mule buggies. A miscellaneous bridal shower was given by the Center Grove Methodist Church in Gurdon on July 7. Becky Tolson and nine hostesses gave a holiday shower at her home July 11 for the bride-to-be. A lighted snow village wedding chapel center piece was presented to the bride-elect. Rosemary Walker of Sparkman hosted a recipe and kitchen shower in her home on July 12. Co-hostess for the shower was Louise Givens. A lingerie shower given by Wal-Mart pharamists and staff was hosted in the home of Theresa Thomas on July 16. Nikki Daniel, Ginger Harris and Candice Lowe were hostesses for a personal shower for the bride-elect on July 23. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Eddie McMaster and catered by Kregs, was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bass on July 26. The outside setting was festive with tables decorated with colored cloths, fresh flowers, ferns, ribbons and confetti. The bride and groom presented gifts to their attendants after the dinner. The Honeycomb Restaurant was the setting for the bridesmaids luncheon given by Jane Lucas and Francis McLean on July 27. The bride presented favors to her attendants at this time.
