HOME SHOTPublished Wednesday, July 21, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneA bullet struck a house off Arkansas Highway 19 Thursday, July 19, but no one was injured. Sorrells said the NCSO is looking into the matter to see if the shooting was intentional and directed at those who live there, or if it was an accident. Two shots were reported, but no one apparently saw who fired the shots. According to Sorrells, a bullet was found at the site. The bullet had struck a double-paned window, shattering the outer pane, but not harming the interior glass.
