Top GunPublished Wednesday, August 28, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesDoug Watts, one of the featured performers for the First Annual Gurdon Forest Festival Air Expo, is shown with a rare World War 11 vintage AT-6D fighter training plane. Planes such as this were used to get pilots ready for the more battle-ready fighters such as the P-51 Mustangs used in the European and Pacific Theaters of the war.
