Police Officials Investigate Two Burglaries, Shooting

McBrayer's Carwash was broken into sometime between July 13 or 14.

According to Heb Sorrells, media information director with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office, entry was gained through the maintenance room. Once inside, the suspect(s) broke into the coin machines taking about $1,300 in change.

Additionally, he said, the perpetrator(s) did about $3,200 damage to the equipment.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Deputies are also investigating the residential burglary of a home in Emmet.

Sorrells said the incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 13.

A videocassette recorder and video games were taken in the burglary.
