Military NewsPublished Wednesday, September 4, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayunePetty Officer 2nd Class Gwen D. Little, daughter of Fannie Ollison Prescott recently reported for duty at Naval Support Activity, Naples, Italy. Little's new assignment is an example of how Navy and Marine Corps men and women are assigned to ships, squadrons and shore commands around the world. Whether serving in the Persian Gulf near Iraq or in the Adriatic Sea near Bosnia, people like Little are making a differnece as they work to improve their knowledge and skill as part of the most highly technical naval force in history.
