Published Wednesday, September 4, 1996 in the Nevada County Picayune

Rita Dorsey from Bodcaw is a GED success story. She left school in the 11th grade to go to work. After marriage and children she decided she wanted to pursue the dream of getting her high school diploma and then going on to better things.

The opportunity came along when Nevada School offered the GED adult education class. Rita passed the GED test in December 1992. She went to Red River College in Hope and graduated the LPN program in the spring of 1994.

Currently she is working toward her RN degree. Rita is a success story and you can be also. A GED diploma is the first step toward a promising future. It is your choice. If you have a dream of getting your high school diploma, signup for the GED class that will be offered free of charge at Nevada School beginning September 9 at 6 p.m. Contact Mrs. Kay King at 871-2475 for more information.
