Co. School Electrions Are September 17th

The Nevada County school elections will be held Tuesday, September 17. Polls will open at 7:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m.

Polling places for Prescott School District will be at Prescott Elementary School; for Emmet School District at Emmet City Hall; and the Nevada School District's election will be held in the foyer of the school.

Poll workers for Prescott School District are: sheriff, Bud Vandiver; judges, Gene Cloer and Marguriete Tomlin; and clerks, Lenora McWiliams and Willa Muldrew.

Poll workers for Nevada School District are: sheriff, Ardell Johnson; judges, Maudie Miller, Lula Kendrix and Beverly Loe; and clerks, Nancy Fore and Janis Worlow.

Poll workers for Emmet School District are: sheriff, James Osborn; judges, Winifred Ward and JoAnn Arnett; and clerks, June Osborn and Ruth Jones.
