Dillard C. SarrettPublished Wednesday, September 11, 1996 in the Nevada County PicayuneDillard C. Sarrett, 88, of Celina, Texas, formerly of Rosston, died Thursday, September 5, 1996, in Columbia Medical Center in McKinney, Texas. Born July 11, 1908, in Rosston, he was the son of Samuel and Mollie Barksdale Sarrett, a Church of Christ minister for over 43 years, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was the widower of Lois Nelson Sarrett. Survivors include a son, Ronald D. Sarrett of Celinia, Texas; two brothers, Sam Sarrett of Texarkana aned Dale Sarrett of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Illa Caples of Little Rock; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, September 7, at Westside Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas, with Bro. Tom Gaumer and Bro. Allen Jenkins officiating. Graveside services and burial were conducted Sunday, September 8, at Bluff City Cemetery in Bluff City with Bro.
