Published Wednesday, September 11, 1996 in the Nevada County Picayune

An arrest has been made in connection with the residential burglary of the Jester family.

According to Jim Westmoreland, criminal investigator with the Nevada County Sheriff's Office and Prescott Police Department, Leslie Gordon Cornahan, 46, of Prescott, was picked up in Jonesboro on a traffic stop.

During the stop, the Jonesboro officer ran a check on Cornahan and found an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Nevada County.

The suspect was released to Nevada County Sheriff Harold Vines and deputy Roy Frazier Friday, Aug. 30.

Cornahan was charged locally with theft by receiving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His first appearance in the Nevada County Circuit Court resulted in Cornahan's being held without bond.

However, his problem's aren't over yet. According to Westmoreland, Florida authorities have a hold on Cornahan as well, with charges pending in that state as well.
