Janice Anderson

Janice Anderson, 57, of Hope died Friday, September 13, 1996, at her home.

Born June 25, 1939, in Leon County, Texas, she was a homemaker and owner of Anderson Construction of Hope. She was a baptist and was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Sutton; two brothers, Bo and Kenneth Shuffler; and her father, Jack Shuffler.

Survivors include her husband, John Anderson; two sons, John Anderson Jr. of Baytown, Texas, and Mickey Stout of Hope; three daughters, Jennifer Walton, Kelly Stephens and Pam Stout, all of Hope; her mother, Elsie Shuffler of Houston, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Schelin of Baton Rouge, La; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were Sunday, September 15, in Memory Gardens in Hope with Rev. John Mangum officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
