Gurdon BeautiesPublished Wednesday, September 18, 1996 in the Gurdon TimesCassidy Allen was crowned Clark County Fair Queen Monday, Sept. 9, at Arkansas Hall on the campus of Henderson State University. Gurdon contestants dominated the competition as Elizabeth Shepherd was runner up in the Fair Queen Contest, and, Jesi Woolf captured the title of Little Miss Clark County. Allen, in her capacity as queen, presided over festivities at the fair and rodeo, including Saturday's livestock premium sale.
